The recipe
Four ingredients, printed on the bag.
Sugar. Corn Syrup. Cream of Tartar. Oil of Peppermint.
Sugar and corn syrup build the body. Cream of tartar controls how the sugar sets, which is what gives the mint its soft, melting texture instead of a hard crack. Oil of peppermint does the rest.
Pure and natural. Fat free. Gluten free. Soy free. Salt free — all as stated on the current package.

We use real peppermint oil rather than a flavor system built to imitate it. You can taste the difference immediately: brighter at the front, cooler through the middle, and gone cleanly instead of lingering as something sweet and vague.
